The result was a pattern that was initially meant to be a snowflake, but by the time I was finished, it didn't really look like one aside from having 6 spokes.
For some reason it makes me think "carnival" - maybe because of the ribbon-like shapes and the parts that resemble hanging lights. The curtains around the edges were added after I decided on the name, to go with the theme.
