About Stephanie
Ever since I was very young, I've been entranced by fictional worlds. As a miniature bookworm, I read the dictionary because I wanted to, and often had it by my side as I pored over novels that were supposedly too advanced for my tender but inquisitive years.
I’ve been writing ever since I can remember, with projects ranging from a hand-written animal story that I made when I was ten or so, to typing out my first full-length novel at age twelve, to finally taking the leap and publishing My Fugitive in 2012. Having always had a fascination with human psychology, I love diving into my characters' worlds and watching their personalities evolve as they're drawn deeper into the plot. The protagonists are always flawed, the antagonists never two-dimensionally evil, and seldom do either reach the end of the book without changing along the way. Along with writing novels, I work as a business coach and consultant for life, business and relationship coaches who want to turn their expertise into a coaching program. When I’m not writing or working, I enjoy playing video games, looking up random things on the internet, drawing, connecting with my readers, hanging out with my family, and taking shortcuts that involve cliffs. |
