Farscape Scorpius MV:
It Was Her House That Killed Nessarose
From the perspective of much of the cast and audience of Farscape, Scorpius is the villain of the story. Much like the Wicked Witch of the West, from whose viewpoint this song is sung. But what happens when the POV character and the antagonist are switched?
While most of the Scorpius/John MVs out there seem to focus on John's pain, Scorpius' badassery, and/or the twisted, compelling chemistry between the two, I wanted to do something different. So here is the story of John Crichton and Scorpius, told through the eyes of our favorite Scarran/Sebacean hybrid, and set to soft female vocals and delicate piano. Enjoy. :)
I'd love to hear what you think of it, so please leave a comment on YouTube after you're finished watching, and subscribe to my channel so you'll know when I release more music videos.

Farscape Scorpius MV:
Unbreakable
The Aurora Chair is an excellent place from which to reflect on one's life. Not that Scorpius had a choice.
Farscape John/Aeryn MV:
No Light, No Light
The tumultuous relationship between John Crichton and Aeryn Sun, told from Aeryn's perspective.
It's a bit less of a linear story than my first two MVs; actually, it's more like a series of J/A minisodes. I'd love to hear what you think of it, so please leave a comment on YouTube after you watch!

Farscape Harvey Mini-Episode:
Infinite Possibilities 1.5: Drowning
The events of "Daedalus Demands" and "Icarus Abides", from the perspective of Harvey the neuroclone.
A cross between a music video and a fanfiction, this mini-episode explores Harvey's fear, anger, loneliness and regret as he waits for the attack to begin, and his resignation as his attempts to defend himself begin to fail.
If you've ever regretted the fact that Farscape never had an episode dedicated to Harvey, and that it never really explored his tragic situation and unique point of view, I hope this mini-episode makes up for it.

Farscape Scorpius MV:
Poisoned With Love
A portrait of the many twisted relationships of Scorpius.
The Scarran caretaker whom he tried and failed to please as a child...
The woman who took him in when he was young, and later tried to murder him...
The hybrid-hating military organization he works with to prevent his chosen species from being wiped out...
The wormhole-wielding human, who started out as his enemy and resisted all attempts to reconcile...
The Kalish fugitive, who at first seemed like such a contrast to Natira...
And the Sebacean pioneer woman, for whom he endures it all.

Farscape Scorpius and John MV:
Re: Your Brains
Starring Scorpius as Bob the Polite Zombie, and John Crichton as Tom the Harassed Ex-Coworker, whose brain Bob covets above all else.
Farscape Logic Bombs
Plot holes, fridge logic, moments of epic forgetfulness, and one vicious verbal burn, set to music that makes very microt of it twice as funny.
Farscape Zhaan/Stark MV:
Cosmic Love
The strange but beautiful relationship between a compassionate priestess and the gentle madman with whom she fell in love.
Farscape Sikozu/Scorpius MV:
E.T.
The edgy, dangerous relationship between Farscape's futuristic lovers, Sikozu and Scorpius.
Farscape and PKW John and Scorpius MV:

Farscape and PKW Scorpius MV:

Farscape and PKW Scorpius MV:
One Foot in Front of the Other
Scorpius continues to move toward his goals of wormholes and dead Scarrans, one foot in front of the other foot in front of the one foot at a time.
Farscape and PKW John MV:
Sucker Punch
A tribute to John Crichton, his second-string team, and his awful plans. It's gonna get as messy as it wants to be, because even when you've had enough trouble, the trouble always wants more.
Farscape Scorpius MV:
Falling Down
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a flying upside-down Scorpius! It's a video that showcases the many different sides of Farscape's most complex and interesting antagonist!
This was probably the most difficult music video to make so far; it's got WAY more instrumental than any of my previous videos, including several rhythm sections in which I decided to have a separate clip for each drumbeat. I also paid a lot more attention than usual to matching the mood of the clip with the mood of the music, so the clips had to be selected with great care. But I'm happy with how it turned out.

Farscape and PKW Scorpius and Rylani MV:
Wanderer's Lullaby
A message from Rylani Jeema Dellos to Scorpius, the son she never got to meet.
This is easily the most tender music video I've made so far. When I heard the song, I knew I just had to make a video of it, and naturally I gravitated toward my favourite character as the subject. Despite the inherent strangeness of making a Scorpius music video set to any song involving the word 'lullaby', it seemed very fitting for a portrayal from a mother's point of view.
I really like the contrast it provides; the rest of the cast and the show itself view Scorpius as badass and dangerous, so the gentle, unconditionally loving lens of a mother's perspective makes for a touching and intriguing counterpoint.

Farscape and PKW Scorpius MV:
Still Alive
In which SCoRPIUS reports on his surprisingly nonfatal career as the head of the Aperture Science Gammak Project.
Farscape Scorpius MV:
Leaves from the Vine
The tale of Scorpius' quest to find answers, to create the power to protect one species and destroy another, and to finally come marching home.
I don't know why this song makes me cry. Almost no other song can do that. But this one does. If you enjoyed the music in this video, you can find more covers and some original compositions by the artist here.

Farscape John, Braca and Scorpius MV:
Strawberry Gashes
In an unrealized reality, Scorpius is executed on Grayza's orders. After Braca's cycles of working with the half-Scarran, and despite John's suffering at his hands, both men are haunted by the grim result of their betrayal.
Farscape John MV:
Whistling In the Dark
The tale of one American's descent into the madness of space, his own mind, and Australia's sense of humour.
Farscape Zhaan/Stark MV:
Mirai
Even as the future they believed in is betrayed, Zhaan and Stark embrace each other and look toward the future.
This is the first video I've done in a language other than my own. If you don't speak Japanese, and you want to understand how the lyrics match the clips, turn on the subtitles/CC.

Farscape and PKW Music Video:
The Reluctant Heroes
A tribute to Farscape's reluctant heroes, and to the "Attack on Titan" lovers in my family.
Farscape and PKW John MV:
Mal's Song
John Crichton has lost people he loved, been separated from his land, and been taken where he couldn't stand. But he's still got his family, his leviathan, and his sky.
Farscape John and Scorpius MV:
Hide and Seek
John Crichton's descent into madness at the hands of Harvey and Scorpius.
I dropped the pitch on this a bit to make it fit the tone I was going for; you can hear and download the original here.

Farscape and PKW Scorpius MV:
Frozen
When Scorpius joined the hybrid-hating Peacekeepers to prevent a genocide, he knew that his motives would be misunderstood, and his actions would label him a cold-hearted monster. He accepted it. But sometimes, he wishes that the people he needs the most would understand.
Farscape and PKW Scorpius MV:
Painted Smile
Scorpius loses the battle to his rage, pain, and once-suppressed Scarran side.
Farscape and PKW Scorpius MV:
Mal's Song
Scorpius has lost his family and his home, but no one can take the sky from him.
Farscape and PKW Music Video:
The Mum Song
Harvey and John are too old to act this way. Crais and Scorpius are grounded until they're 36. Everyone had better straighten up. The moms of Farscape have spoken.
All We Ask:
An Original Song for Farscape's Scorpius
There are many things a man can want. But all this one asks for is the power to save his people.
Note: This one isn't actually a music video. It's an original composition by yours truly. :) I do plan to make a music video out of it someday, though.
In the meantime, if you would like to sing and upload your own version, I would be happy to provide you with the instrumentals.

Lyrics:
All that you ask of me
Is that I set aside
My quest for your knowledge
Do you want to die?
Armageddon is coming
I hold it at bay
Yet I am a monster
That’s what people say
You’re your kind of hero
And I am my own
You fight for your loved ones
And I fight alone
There’s a rift between us
We must bridge it
For if we don’t,
Our lives are forfeit
I don’t care if you hurt me
I don’t care if you hate
If we can stop this fate
Take all I have, I’ll bear no ill will
All I ask is please don’t let my people be killed
You’re entitled to despise me
I know this is true
But the thing you don’t realize
Is I could have been you
You fight for your loved ones
I fight for my race
We lie, kill, and steal
Is the rift so great?
You say I treat people as pawns;
I ask how many
Would be by my side if
I didn’t force them to be
I don’t care if they abandon me,
bury me alive
To halt their extinction
is the reason I strive
I don’t care if you hate me
For forcing your hand
Though you misunderstand
Your family lives; mine is long gone
To save others like them, I must still carry on
Sometimes I wish that I could ask
For friendship from those whom I protect
But better that they see me as a monster
Than die and see nothing
Ever again
I could have worked for the conquerors
And saved my own skin
Or sought safety and love as
A civilian
But I gave up that chance
I’ll do whatever it takes
For happiness is nothing
Next to what's at stake
I’ll endure the betrayal,
be misunderstood
Be seen as irredemable
even when I do good
I don’t need you to love me
I don’t need you to care
All I ask is that you help me
This burden to bear
And after the war you will wish
I was gone, but don’t fear
For I will still be here
Against my presence in your life you may chafe
But I’ll be with you always, keeping you safe
All that you ask of me
Is that I set aside
My quest for your knowledge

Farscape and PKW Scorpius, John and Aeryn MV:
Magia
As their hopes of seeing tomorrow fade, Scorpius makes a final appeal: if John won't use the power of wormholes to save the Sebacean species, will he do it for the Sebacean woman he loves?
Farscape and PKW John and Scorpius MV:
Blood Right
Their perceptions of wrong and right are as different as night and day. And yet, John and Scorpius must find a way to set that aside, and claim their place in the cycle of their blood right.
Farscape and PKW John, Scorpius and Aeryn MV:
Calling
In an Unrealized Reality, the fight against each other and the Scarrans ends with Aeryn dead, Scorpius dying, and John vowing to avenge the former by completing the latter's work.
Unite Synchronization, Extended and Layered
An extended version of Unite Synchronization, from the awesome webcomic Homestuck.
I did a bit of playing around with the transitions, making different parts of the song segue into each other to keep it fresh and interesting, as opposed to simply looping it. I mostly created this because I wanted it to exist, but why should I be the only one who gets to enjoy it?

Incertus, Extended and Layered
An extended version of Incertus from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, with some tinkering and layering near the end.
If you haven't watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica, I highly recommend it! It's a dark and splendidly creative twist on the magical girl genre, and it's probably the best anime I've ever seen.

If Farscape's Scorpius Got Drunk
Farscape's Scorpius tends to keep his wits about him. But what would happen if he completely drowned those wits in alcohol?
"sans." With Lyrics
One day, a set of lyrics started popping into my head, and I thought they were a great fit for the hopes, fears and secret motives that drive the goofy but enigmatic Sans' interactions with the protagonist.
So I pulled up Audacity, imported Sans' matter-of-factly-named theme song, added words, and put the result on YouTube.
Lyrics
Come, take my hand
Take a break at my hot dog stand
Although you’re human
It’s my hope that we can be friends
I’ll use my pranks
To read your response and I’ll thank
You not to reset
If you’re the anomaly I think
You’ve seen it before
What lies beyond the Ruins’ door
But guess you never
Found whatever you are looking for
So what do you seek?
Is it home or a family?
You can have those here
And I hope I can help you see
You don’t need to
Use time travel or execute
Your foes to find peace
‘Cause the life that has been given to you
Isn’t so bad
You’ve got friends, good food and bad laughs
I think your new life
Can be better than the one we used to have

Drifting Snowflakes, Gentle Rain: 12 Minutes of Drawing Snowflakes While Sad Music Plays
I found some soft, sad, beautiful songs, and I wanted to make a snowflake-drawing montage that would fit with them. So I created a rainy, misty background, and used vivid but gentle shades of blue for this snowflake series.
I also added rain and thunder sounds to the video, to help complete the mood.

Gilded Space Snowflake: 20 Minutes of Drawing Snowflakes While Peaceful Music Plays
I wanted to do a space-themed snowflake-drawing montage, and I ended up basing the color scheme on the Undertale AU "Outertale".
Due to having two colors on each snowflake, this ended up being the longest montage I've ever done.

How to Draw Semi-Realistic Fire
I was asked how I draw the semi-realistic fire in my webcomic, so I made a quick tutorial.
Burst of Burgundy Blossoms: 10 Minutes of Drawing Symmetrical Art With Dramatic and Peaceful Music
It’s about time I made another of these! This time I wanted to try a more floral twist on my usual snowflake patterns.
I'd originally envisioned a winding tangle of vines, but it ended up being more of a sharp, straight starburst of flower-studded leaves shooting out from the center.

Sea of Violet Snowflakes: 10 Minutes of Drawing Snowflakes While Peaceful Music Plays
I decided to do something a bit different with this one; while my previous videos were pretty much all done in real time, the snowflake-drawing part of this video is double speed, and the background-drawing part is even faster. Otherwise it would've been over 20 minutes long; I lost track of time while drawing snowflakes, haha.
I'd love to get some feedback: do you like it when the video is sped up like this, or would you prefer that I go back to the original speed? You can send the feedback via my contact page.
After the video was made, I decided to make the background a bit darker, so the snowflakes would stand out more. So if the finished product looks different from the one in the video, that's why.

Speedpaint: Designing Kivara the Charishi Kitten (without narration)
In this speedpaint, I designed one of the stars of my short story and upcoming novel, Upholding the Covenant. Kivara is a precious little terror who escapes her play pen, steals foreign dignitaries' offerings to the local leader, and chews on a visiting ambassador's belongings while he's trying to use them, but she's far too cute to stay angry at.
You can read Kivara and Orennian’s short story for free here.

Speedpaint: Designing Kivara the Charishi Kitten (narrated)
In this speedpaint, I'm designing Kivara the Charishi kitten, a chaotic little member of a feline species in my fantasy short story and upcoming novel, Upholding the Covenant. Kivara is a precious little terror who escapes her play pen, steals foreign dignitaries' offerings to the local leader, and chews on a visiting ambassador's belongings while he's trying to use them, but she's far too adorable to stay angry at.
While I design her, I'll be sharing cute and funny Kivara moments, new facts about Charishi culture and biology, and insights into how the jock baby's friendship with nerd ambassador Orennian developed.

Speedpaint: The Fae Within
A fae casts a glamour to take the form of a normal child... or a child’s mind soars into a world where she’s a creature of power and magic. Which one is it? I’ll leave it to you to decide.
