This is the item that gave me the idea:
I started with some globes, with distant, blurred circles of color interspersed between them to fill the void:
Once that was done, I decided I didn't want to cover the centers of most of the globes the way the picture that inspired me did, so I made frames that cradled their bases instead.
I put the full collage in my RedBubble and Society6 stores, as well as the four largest globes.
