It's been some time since I did a snowflake-drawing montage, and I was getting the urge to do it again.

With COVID-19 forcing so many people into quarantine, I also felt a pull as an artist to offer those who are trapped in their homes a bit of escape and entertainment.

Wow, it's been a while since I finished one of these! Floral pattern side projects with pride flag series versions will do that to a webcomic, haha.

Toriel actually does understand questions, of course; she's just trying to end this conversation before Frisk can get back onto the topic of going to the surface. Not the most effective way to sidetrack a kid, but it can be hard to think and suppress fear at the same time.

New Artwork: Butterfly Garden and Sapphire Web

Whew! I just got back from a trip to my maternal grandparents late Tuesday night, and I'm finally catching up enough that I have time to share what I drew while I was away.

The snowflake pattern below, "Sapphire Web", is a quick demo I drew for my grandmother. It's too small for a print-on-demand piece, but it's pretty enough that I still wanted to share it. :)

My other main project while I was away is a new print-on-demand pattern, "Butterfly Garden".

I had so much fun creating "Flight Over Flowers of Fantasy" that I wanted to draw another pattern like it. Much of this pattern was made with a touchpad while riding as a passenger on bumpy roads - thank goodness for stroke stabilizer!

I made the background of this image simpler than the heavily textured one I used for "Flight Over Flowers of Fantasy", because the latter experience taught me that intricate textures take up a LOT of file space and processing power. The flat background and resulting relative lack of lag certainly made the drawing process easier!

The blue one below came first, then I adapted it into the other versions.
