Oh, God, Area Skeleton Making His Move
To see what led to Sans' current move-making, you can read the comic from the beginning here.
Undertale and Sans can be deliciously creepy when they want to be.

Sans gets his first glimpse of Frisk... and what he sees scares him. You can read the comic from the beginning here. For a second, Sans thought it was Toriel who was coming out of the Ruins. Instead, it's the latest piece of the puzzle that's been haunting him ever since he learned of its existence.
Good thing he teleported far enough away that Frisk didn't hear it when his hand clenched on that whoopee cushion, haha. Patreon | Ko-fi | Commissions | Physical merch with my art on it The latest page of Just Cause is done, and Flowey is being... Flowey. I hope you enjoy this more than Frisk will! Dang, Flowey’s face is fun to play with. So many expressions, and so few limits on how the face that makes those expressions can be shaped!
Most of Flowey’s dialogue in this scene was copied directly from the corresponding scene in the game, or closely paraphrased. I wanted it to be as authentic to the in-game experience as possible, while tailoring it to the specific set of observations and interactions he’d had with Frisk so far – and, of course, accommodating the fact that this version of Frisk talks back. :P In case it’s unclear, when Flowey says they’ve stolen his place as the prince, he’s referring to himself being a prince. Just Cause!Frisk is intersex – not that Flowey currently knows what sex or gender they are. I hope you enjoyed this page as much as I enjoyed making it. I’m looking forward to the next one, where we finally get to see Timeline 1 Sans! It's been a while since I turned a panel of Just Cause into a wallpaper, and this one seemed especially conducive to it. In this panel, Frisk is wondering if Flowey can wrest control of the timeline from them, and make them relive their most painful moments over and over again.
I'm not entirely happy with it; I feel like the scenes from Frisk's past don't quite mesh with the rest of the picture. They feel slapped-on to me. If you have any suggestions for making them feel more integrated, I'd love to hear them! In this chapter, we see the conclusion of Frisk's painful battle with the woman who wished to be their mother. If you haven't read the previous pages, you can read the comic from the beginning here. Frisk has a LOT of insecurities, and that fight and its aftermath touched on far too many of them, like fingers in an open wound. They desperately need a grownup who will love them and refuse to hurt them unconditionally, but in a place like this, those are in short supply. But hey, there's no situation so bad that a talking flower can't make it worse! In the game, if Toriel's hand attack collides with Frisk, her turn ends instantly, like she didn't mean to hit them and is flinching away.
Meanwhile, poor Frisk is trying so hard to keep that missing piece of pie from being the straw that breaks the camel's back, even as the weight of their loss grows heavier on their mind. If Frisk's behavior in this scene is normal for people who have seen a ghost in Undertale, it's no wonder Napstablook is so sad.
And now it's time to return to the scene of their recent trauma, this time with no pie and even less rest than they had before the last time. This is SUCH an easy mistake to make the first time you play Undertale. >_<
Frisk COULD reload their save, of course, but right now they're in far too much shock to remember that. Better hope they remember before they save again.
