Page 50 of my Undertale fan comic, Just Cause, is half finished, and Toriel's starting to get worried. But not as worried as Frisk. My supporters on Patreon can see the 20-panel work-in-progress preview here.

Yikes. Looks like someone isn't getting the True Pacifist ending this time. Honestly though, I can't blame Frisk for their act of desperation. They strongly feel that it was wrong, but they've been hurt and died so many times that it's hard to remain patient and forgiving when their assailant cackles while threatening to do it again. As far as they could tell, this was the only way to make the torture stop. Page 49 of Just Cause is a little over half finished, and Frisk is WAY less happy about that than you are.

The latest page of Just Cause is finished! You can read the comic from the beginning here. Uh-oh, Vegetoids. You're making them desperate. You won't like them when they're desperate. Poor baby - they want so badly to be a good kid, but they're trapped in a violent, confusing world with rules they don't understand, and far too little information about what that world should be like and how they're supposed to navigate it. It's just a matter of time before something goes horribly wrong. Frisk is dangerously close to resorting to violence at this point, but they still have hope that Toriel will bring an end to this nightmare before that becomes necessary.
Speaking of Goatmom, in Undertale, you have the option to flirt with several characters, and Toriel is one of them. There are a few possible explanations for this, some more disturbing than others, and this is the one I've chosen to go with for this story. When this version of Frisk flirts with you, what they're really trying to say is, "I'm afraid of you. Please don't hurt me." They didn't think it could be true at first, but the reality of their newfound power is beginning to sink in.

In the upcoming page of Just Cause, Frisk encounters Napstablook again, and the revelation that this stranger knows Napstablook but Blooky doesn't remember them causes the poor, anxious ghost no end of stress. "I must seem so rude... oh nooooo..." My Patrons can read the 16-panel work-in-progress preview here.
With this mysterious motivation driving them forward, Frisk's power over the timeline fully awakens.
They don't fully understand what just happened or how, so they're trying to shake these weird possibilities out of their head and find a more plausible explanation. But it's only a matter of time before they realize how powerful they've become. The grey text saying "You cannot give up just yet" is one of the game over messages you can receive when you run out of HP. The game doesn't explicitly explain why you hear these messages, but it does drop very strong hints, which you'll see later.
